Day 5
Scriptures reveal a lot of things about us, who we are, and what God wants us to know about ourselves.
Day five is really all about what the Scriptures have to say about who we can become. Take some time to
read through the following Scriptures, take note of anything that sticks out to you.
Genesis 1:26-31
Genesis 3
Psalm 139:13-16
Romans 12:1-8
Ephesians 2:8-10
Philippians 3:1-4:1

Journal Time
Journal over the following questions:

1. What have I discovered about what the Scriptures say about humankind, and about me?

2. Personal growth is a huge part of what Christ-likeness is all about, where do I see myself on my
journey right now?

3. What are a few of the things I have seen to be lies about myself after reading the Scriptures?

4. After I read the suggested Scripture passages, and reflecting on what I have already learned about
myself through this study I see myself...

5. Do you have an accountability partner? If so, share your thoughts on these things with him or her, and
spend some time in prayer over what you have discovered. If not, find someone you are willing to talk to
and share your thoughts with him or her.
