POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Care Research Assistant
GENDER & AGE REQUIREMENT: Female, aged 19-40
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Senior Ministry Leader
CARE RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION
The Leadership of FLUFF Ministries take their positions very seriously, and are expected to retain a growing
relationship with Christ and with each other. Because of the emphasis this ministry places on fellowship and
the importance of individual and corporate growth, every woman in a Leadership position is required to be
involved in a fellowship group outside of FLUFF Ministries and have regular times of individual study. The
Care Research Assistant of FLUFF Ministries should have the ability and willingness to assist the Senior
Ministry Leader with researching local and community care options, counseling and personal growth
applications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Minimum commitment of 1 semester, hours negotiable)
Assist the Senior Ministry Leader with
• Researching specific local and community care options
• Researching counseling techniques and applications
• Researching and utilizing personal growth applications
Responsibility to
• Meet as needed with Senior Ministry Leader
• Contact care organizations per Senior Ministry Leader’s request
• Study and report on the following topics
o Crisis intervention and care
o Care group models and experience
o Cultural issues in care ministry
o Conflict management
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, GIFTS, OR TALENTS
• Must be a receiver of Salvation
• Must have good people skills
• Must agree to uphold the standards, terms, and conditions of FLUFF Ministries
• Must be willing to research, study, and report on a variety of care topics
• Must be willing to interact on a personal level with a variety of care issues
• Must be willing to grow personally, in ministry, and professionally
• Must have at least one year of successful college education in a compatible concentration
• Must have at least one year experience in a related field
• Must be able to generally self-organize and manage time well
CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Copy of transcripts from attended college
• Documented proof of previous experience in related field (letter of recommendation from previous
supervisor will suffice)
• At least thee non-related references
